Contraindications
• Those with kidney or heart problems, Addison’s disease or liver cirrhosis should consult their
physician before using supplements containing electrolytes.
Drug interactions
• Electrolytes are involved in many body systems. Caution is required in those taking cardio-active
medications such as diuretics, digitalis, and ACE inhibiting (BP lowering) drugs.
Directions
Take 2.5ml (approx. half a teaspoon) to 10ml (approx. two teaspoons) daily as required, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Dilute in one litre of water, juice or other cold beverage, or add to food for an electrolyte boost.
