We Check the Ingredients, So You Don’t Have To.
By setting boundaries around what we won’t accept, we reduce exposure to substances linked to harm, irritation, long-term health concerns, and environmental damage. So you can feel confident, cared for, and conscientious every time you shop with us.
What We Leave Out
Across all categories, we exclude artificial sweeteners, synthetic colourants, harsh preservatives, parabens, phthalates, sulfates, PEGs, silicones, formaldehyde, and ethanolamines. Removing these ensures safer, cleaner products that honour both your health and the environment.
Foods & Health
Artificial sweeteners (like aspartame and sucralose) can affect digestion and metabolism, so we leave them out in favour of natural alternatives.
Synthetic colourants (such as tartrazine and allura red) are linked to sensitivities and allergic reactions, so we avoid them.
Artificial preservatives like BHA and BHT may carry long-term health risks, so we choose safer methods to keep food fresh.
Flavour enhancers (like MSG) can trigger sensitivities, so we keep them off our shelves.
Genetically modified ingredients (GMOs) are excluded to support natural, minimally processed nutrition.
Body Care
Parabens and phthalates are linked to hormonal disruption, so we don’t allow them.
Sulfates can strip the skin and hair, so we favour gentle cleansers instead.
Petroleum derivatives and PEGs may compromise skin health and the environment, so we leave them out.
Silicones can create a non-breathable barrier on the skin and hair, so we exclude them in favour of natural absorption.
Formaldehyde and releasing agents are known irritants and carcinogens that will never make it onto our shelves.
Ethanolamines are avoided to minimise irritation and reduce environmental impact.
