Homemade Oat Milk

Ingredients
1 cup rolled oats
3 cups filtered water
2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Method
1. Blend all ingredients (rolled oats, water, and vanilla extract if using) on high until the mixture is smooth.
2. Strain the mixture by pouring it through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth.
3. Squeeze the last of the milk out of the bag or cloth, and discard the remaining pulp or save it to use as a flour.
4. Refrigerate and enjoy chilled.
